Our Community,
Our Health,
Our Hospital.
Stu Kerber for East Jefferson County Public Hospital District - Commissioner #3

Helping you have the quality of life that you deserve.
Priorities
1) Provide stability and professionalism to the Commission
Balancing transparency and responsibility, and helping to guide dynamic decision making.

2) Challenge us to resolve access barriers to healthcare
Access consists of four things:
-
Physical Access/transportation to services
-
Ensuring and protecting access to the services you need
-
Financial access and affordability
-
Timeliness of accessing services

3) Ensure Jefferson Healthcare remains financially sound
Continuing to remain at the front of services and technology offered by any Critical Access Hospital, while protecting the future of Jefferson Healthcare.

4) Expand representation on the Board of Commissioners to represent unincorporated East Jefferson County
Voicing the perspective of our community members living outside city limits; we live in the south end of the county and see the impact access to healthcare has on the livability of a community.
Professionally Leading on behalf of employees and patients.

Meet Stu Kerber
A Pacific Northwest native, I moved to Jefferson county 9 years ago to lay down roots with my wife. We are raising our two boys with a lifestyle focused on the things that matter - spending time in nature, learning, working hard, and finding adventures. I am dedicated to growth - in my career, with my family, and in intentionally finding ways to challenge myself.
Dynamic community infrastructure is essential for a community to remain vibrant. I am passionate about being involved, and know it takes thinking differently and collaborating to support our community's anchor institutions as the landscape changes around us. With experience in leadership, corporate governance, finance, and change management - finding creative solutions, and driving results through collaboration is core to who I am.
